What you need will depend greatly on what your role will be. For instance, do you want to be a sniper? Or will you be doing mostly QCB (close quarters battles)? Or do you want the best of BOTH worlds? Yes, there is a specific type of gun for ALL of these scenarious!

Another important thing to consider is the price factor. So before I even get started with this guide, I would like to say a little bit about the price of the airsoft gun(s) that you will be using, and what you can expect to get, based on the price that you pay.

Basically you can go cheap, and buy one of the many Chinese made airsoft guns. For the most part these will be made out of mostly ABS plastic, but they will pretty much perform IDENTICAL to the more expensive, "full metal" airsoft guns out there. The main difference will be that their durability is a bit less than the full metal guns. However, unless you do something fairly stupid (like dropping the gun from the roof of a building), then you are most likely not going to have to worry about breaking the gun.

For those of you that want to spend a bit more, you can obviously get a full metal airsoft rifle, but you will also be paying at least $50 more you would pay for an Abs plastic airsoft gun. As far as the components inside of the gun, they will be the same quality as what is inside of the plastic guns (assuming that they are true AEG airsoft guns). However, if you want to spend about $300 or more, you can get an airsoft gun that is made in Taiwan, rather than China. While these types of guns will still perform the same (velocity & accuracy wise), they actually use much higher quality internal components, which pretty much means they will out last the cheaper guns.

Ok, now that we have talked about price and quality, we can talk about specific types of airsoft guns. So with that said, if you want to be a sniper (which almost everyone does), then you will need a powerful "spring" operated airsoft sniper rifle. These guns are great because they shoot the furthest and have the most power. Also, they require no addition power source in order to fire; you simply cock them back for each shot.

For those of you that want to do close quarters battles, you will want the fully automatic electric "AEG" airsoft guns. These guns are better suited for close encounters than the airsoft sniper rifles, mainly because they are smaller, lighter, have a shorter barrel, and can be fired in fully automatic mode.

Lastly, another option is to buy a pistol. However, they are ONLY good for close quarters battles. With an AEG airsoft gun you can still get away with shooting at long distances, but with a pistol, you may as well forget shooting at anyone that is further than about 75 feet away.

And for those of you that want the best of both worlds, they make a popular airsoft gun modeled after the M14, which is basically a hybrid of an airsoft sniper rifle and an electric AEG gun. This puppy can be fired in both semi and full auto modes, can mount a scope, and is extremely accurate as well. This particular type of gun is well suited for close encounters AND distance shooting!

This article was created by expert author Matthew B. Many of us remember having them as children and the renewed interest is natural. The Airsoft Rifle and the Air soft Pistol both come to mind as great examples of quality and price / performance and you will be hard pressed to find better product for the money.

As you look into this, you will see that things have changed a lot since the inception of the airsoft guns. Today you can choose from the rifle, the pistol, the shotgun, and the sniper models. That is more than enough to interest most anyone.

What makes these things even more exciting is the attention to detail and the realism that they portray. As you look at the various models such as the M-16 style Airsoft Rifle or the Air soft Pistol that is designed as a full sized Uzi replica, it is easy to see why these units can excite the people that own them. They are so realistic looking that at first glance it is hard to tell them apart from the real thing for anyone but an expert.

It used to be that this type of weapon was just a pump up unit and today you can get them in standard models, electric models and ones that use C02 or compressed gas to propel the "bullet" towards its target. Along with the many years of changes have come a longer range and improved accuracy that you would have only dreamed of having as a young adult getting started with air guns.

The Air soft Rifle is available today in many models and types. That is a far cry from the one or two models that were available when I was younger. As I look these over it is easy to get the urge to get back into the fun of them again.

As you peruse the Air soft Pistol lineup, you should be equally as impressed with what you find. They offer three different of operating types: spring, electric and gas, which come in many different models.

As you move on from the Airsoft Rifle and the Air soft Pistol and delve into the Shotgun and the Sniper areas, you will or should be summarily impressed with what you are going to find there. The airosft shotgun and airsoft sniper lineup also offers a wide variety of operating types and models that just beg you to grab them and give them a test fire.

All in all, airsoft has put together a lineup of guns for this market that are quite accurate, durable, and cost effective and should offer enough to keep even the most critical of user happy and ready to come back for more. They offer a grand product value for the investment dollar and you will more than likely not have a reason to be anything other than pleased with what you have.

If You Are Looking At Buying An Airsoft Gun, You Might Want To Check Out Discounted Airsoft Artillery at Airsoft Supplies And More.com. I say this because these guns are usually the cheapest guns. You wouldn't want to go out and spend $200 on an AEG rifle if you didn't even know if you were going to like the sport of airsoft yet. Just because these guns are less expensive than other guns doesn't mean that they are just for novices. They can be very useful for many reasons.

Airsoft spring pistols are usually plastic but some due come in metal versions. These are very useful in close quarters battle (CQB) or any other kind of airsoft battle as a secondary weapon. These pistols must be cocked after every shot by pulling the slide back. Just because they are spring powered does not mean that they are weak or under powered. Some may shoot up to 400 feet per second!

Many airsoft shotguns are spring powered. Shotguns can be very powerful and effective for clearing out a room in CQB. These guns are not as useful for outdoor play as they do not hold accuracy over a long distance very well. This is due to the wide shot pattern they have. They can shoot 3 to 6 bb's in one shot at a rate of speed. These guns also must be cocked for each shot. This seems less inconvenient as cocking a pistol every time because shotguns are pump action. This mimics the real thing.

Nearly all airsoft sniper rifles are spring guns. These guns do not need to be automatic electric due to their use. Most sniper rifles are bolt action. This is a lever that must be pulled up and back to chamber another round. These airsoft guns are rarely cheap plastic models, but more metal, high-end units. Sniper rifles are longer than other spring guns so they have better accuracy. Bi-pods and scopes are commonly used with these.

AirsoftEverything.com can help you find the airsoft spring gun you are looking for.

I own and operate AirsoftEverything.com I want to educate more people about airsoft and offer great airsoft guns and gear at great prices. They are usually used by armed services and police activities for training purposes. There are also youngsters who use them for safety training or recreational purposes. If you can afford to spend more on airsoft pistols, you can get one which resembles the real thing. There are a lot of them which has almost the same weight as the real pistols and come will full metal assemblies.

There are people who prefer electric airsoft pistols over spring ones. The most common reasons are they are better built and capable of automatic fire. They run on a battery so you will want to have some spare batteries on hand just in case the battery dies out. The electric pistol is also more realistic and has an advantage over a spring one when you are in a competition. You do not need to cock the spring every time you want to fire, therefore, you can focus on shooting repeatedly on a target until you hit them especially when your opponent's teammates are nearby you.

Although spring airsoft pistols are cheaper in terms of price compared to the electric ones, spring ones are also less powerful. Electric pistols are capable of firing as far as 100-200 fps and this can be really useful when you are tracking down longer range bogies. They are also more accurate due to their higher velocity. Spring ones tend to have lower velocity and this causes the BB to fall too quickly and this affects their accuracy in a negative way.

If you are an airsoft newbie, you are recommended to get the spring one first. However, for serious airsoft pistols buyers, the electric one is what you should be getting because it is more value for money.

Thank you for taking your time to read this article. This particular Airsoft gun, commonly referred to as the AEG, has single handedly lifted the sport to meteoric heights.

Airsoft had its humble beginnings in Asia due to the strict gun laws that severely prohibited the private ownership of firearms in that region of the world. It was in the nation of Japan where it is illegal to own real firearms, that the first Airsoft gun replicas were developed in the early 1980's. A small Japanese manufacturer of radio controlled car models turned its sights to making replica guns in hopes of finding a market for gun enthusiasts, and the sport of Airsoft was born.

The early Airsoft guns were non-lethal, spring powered replicas that fired 6mm plastic BBs. These early toy guns were made of plastic and simple in design. The spring firing mechanism had to be manually re-loaded or "re-cocked" after each shot causing a meager if un-spectacular slow rate of fire. Without any real design enhancements in the early years of its development, interest in the sport grew at a tepid pace.

The sport slowly gained interest in the surrounding region during the latter part of the 80's, but attempts to expand the sport to the West were largely unsuccessful. It would be in the early 1990's that "lighting" would strike, and the sport would encounter its greatest moment of innovation and subsequent breakthrough.

Tokyo Marui, the original Japanese manufacturer that created the early Airsoft spring guns, designed the first fully automatic electric firing system for these replica guns. No longer needing to be manually re-loaded, the innovated on-board electric motor gave the Airsoft gun shooter the ability to fire at will. This automatic rapid-fire feature not only increased the excitement of the game, but also gave the sport its greatest appeal. Automatic electric Airsoft gun owners could now enjoy an exhilarating rate of fire (ROF) ranging anywhere between 600-900 rounds per minute (RPM).

With this exciting new product, Airsoft now offered a universal appeal. The sport caught fire and began to boom. Airsoft spread to different parts of Europe and then to Canada. By the mid-90's it had officially arrived in the United States.

The most popular of all the Airsoft guns, the most current models have the same realistic look and feel of their real-world counterparts. These guns range from the Desert Eagle pistol model to the "mini" or miniature style AEG's, all the way up to the stunning Armalite M15A2 full size assault replica rifles. The AEG is by far the most common gun used in team competitions around the world. These preferred weapons of veteran Airsoft warriors and enthusiasts have something to offer every interested player and collector.

PJ Ace is a writer and administrator for FlyntAirsoftPaintball.com, a site that specializes in airsoft and paintball [http://www.flyntairsoftpaintball.com/].

This post was made using the Auto Blogging Software from <a href='http://www.webmagnates.org' title'make money online'>WebMagnates.org This line will not appear when posts are made after activating the software to full version.Mandy Linhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03755809008274032294noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8866885040998167629.post-68223681422237390912012-09-18T04:46:00.000-07:002012-09-18T04:46:00.026-07:00Airsoft Tactics to Improve Your Skills

The game of Airsoft seriously isn't just 'point and shoot.' Airsoft employs actual military methods and is known as 'MilSim' or 'Military Simulation'. A die tough Airsoft team fanatic learns these techniques and executes them effectively in the field and also the result is an intimidating team that everyone else would like to beat. Methods are basically typical sense solutions to distinct situations and has been perfected for over 3,000 years ever given that males had a taste of power. These tactics, once proven successful, might be accepted as 'tactical doctrine.' They are cornerstones on winning battles either actual or not.

It really is understandable that individuals often say that learning strategies in Airsoft is just not necessary because BB pellets have limited range. But even before the invention of the cannon, military tacticians like William the Conqueror or Alexander the Fantastic fought wars and won without having to use gun powder. These two great males used whatever weapon they had at that time and used them to their advantage. They both know that the array of their weapons just isn't essential but their experience and cunningness.

Yes! The weapons look cool and emptying a 300-round magazine is actually fun when pointed at friends who do the same thing. Still, if a cunning tactic was employed previous to even firing a single shot, the opponents will stand in awe previous to even knowing what hit them. Numerous battles have been lost due to lack of techniques. In fits of rage, soldiers charge down the enemy line and get slaughtered.

In techniques, it's quite essential to follow a commanding officer. His job would be to win the battle by making use of strategies. Positioning an Airsoft Sniper in a spot that's both hidden and strategic is already a tactic. Even hiding behind a tree and scanning for an enemy is form of methods. Learning how to master your Airsoft sniper rifle takes time and practice but will become a great advantage when you do.

Maybe the Japanese who invented Airsoft wanted to have fun taking down a soda can, but ever since other individuals saw the game as a safe method to train the military or the police, the use of tactics in Airsoft will instill discipline and camaraderie to participants whether with real bullets or pellets.

All these Airsoft tactic will help you out in the long run. Another skills that you can pick up to advance your Airsoft skills is learning how to make an Airsoft grenade, which is fairly simple if you have all the right items to make them. A great site to learn how to make them is at TopAirsoftSniperRifles.com!

This post was made using the Auto Blogging Software from <a href='http://www.webmagnates.org' title'make money online'>WebMagnates.org This line will not appear when posts are made after activating the software to full version.Mandy Linhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03755809008274032294noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8866885040998167629.post-53535442524877313782012-09-17T21:37:00.000-07:002012-09-17T21:37:00.367-07:00It's Automatic: Knowing the Difference Between Mini Electric Airsoft Guns and Sniper Rifles

If combatants are armed with mini electric airsoft guns, this will automatically tell the others what kind of player they will be once the game starts. Each gun has its own specialty based on its qualities, which can dictate the tasks to be given to its wielder.

Tasks are split into two, the snipers and the assault team. Both are used offensively and defensively, with different tactics on the field.

A sniper is most effective when he is concealed at a high vantage point. This gives him a clear shot of unsuspecting opponents who enter his crosshair.

The assault team is usually composed of users of automatic rifles are placed in the front lines. They are the ones who handle the dirty work of doing recon and facing the enemy head on. Their weapons are made to adapt to the rapid movements involved in the short distance between themselves and the enemy; allowing them to fire as much as they can in order to get the best chances of a hit. This will prove effective compared to using a single-shot bolt-action rifle, where reloading takes time, increasing vulnerability.

The differences between the two weapons are, as mentioned, the firing and reloading speed. Mini electric airsoft guns are considered as an automatic firearm, which means that they fire continuously while the trigger is pulled. This takes away the need for manual reloading, unlike sniper rifles.

By knowing the difference between the two, players, especially beginners, can properly execute their strategies on the field.

Resource Box: Pyramyd Air stocks the finest in American, European, and Asian brands of air guns, which makes it one of the largest online resources for air rifles, mini electric airsoft guns, and other similar products. Not only do you have to worry about choosing airsoft rifles that are well manufactured but you also need to consider which specific types of guns you want to work with. Maybe you already know whether you want airsoft pistols or machine guns but learning a bit more about your choices will ensure that you choose the best airsoft guns for your needs and your experience level.

Shotguns & Handguns

With airsoftguns, you'll also find some other options. Handguns, such as airsoft pistols, are frequently purchased by beginners because they are a good choice for learning how to properly and accurately handle and fire one of these weapons. They can also be good sidearm weapons meaning they can serve as a backup if you're playing a match and run out of ammunition. Most of the shot guns are not going to be used in matches but there are some that are capable of firing off multiple rounds quickly but overall these would be better choices for target practice. Most airsoft enthusiasts would suggest pistols over both shotguns and revolvers that rarely perform as well.

Air Soft Rifle Options

Two types of rifles are commonly available in the airsoft arena. Assault rifles are one choice. These are one of the most popular types of guns in the airsoft family, possibly because people love the idea of shooting off an M-16. These weapons are capable of doing auto fire that makes it an ideal choice for a few airsoft matches. Another option is a sniper rifle. These can be great choices if you're already part of a team and that team wants a competitive advantage. Not everyone enjoys using a sniper rifle but it can make a great secondary choice.

Carbines and SMGs

The carbine is an interest choice because it's basically just a smaller version of standard airsoft rifles, except that it uses the same ammunition as a submachine gun (SMG). Among airsoft players, the SMGs seem to have some advantages. They may not pack the biggest payload or the most power but they can be great choices because they are easy to handle and don't hamper your movements the way larger automatic weapons, such as the machine gun, might.

Deciding on the Right Weapon

Despite all of the pros and cons, the only person who can really determine the best airsoft guns is you. And that decision should be based on many factors, including your experience level and your intended purpose with the weapon. In some cases, the type of weapon may not matter as much as whether or not you're choosing an automatic or semi-automatic variety. At the end of the day, you have to make the decision about the best airsoft guns for your needs and that requires some research and careful consideration. After all, you don't want to go home with airsoft pistols only to find out you'd have been better off with an M-16.

Sarah Porter has written several articles about Airsoft Guns for Fun, All About Airsoft Rifle, What is Electric Airsoft Guns, BB Guns for All Ages, How to Enjoy Your Airsoft Pistols Interesting Details Air Soft Electric Guns (AEG), Spring Airsoft Guns for Teens, Gas Airsoft Guns for All Ages, All Your Airsoft Accessories and more for SoftAirPro, CardsShoppe, Express-Invitations and Announcements-Shoppe.

This post was made using the Auto Blogging Software from <a href='http://www.webmagnates.org' title'make money online'>WebMagnates.org This line will not appear when posts are made after activating the software to full version.Mandy Linhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03755809008274032294noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8866885040998167629.post-13077539900198632582012-09-17T08:15:00.000-07:002012-09-17T08:15:01.083-07:00Shopping For Cheap Airsoft Guns

For the interested person who is looking to join the exciting and exhilarating fun of the sport of Airsoft, finding an affordable Airsoft gun is not as complicated as it may seem. Although some of the higher-end guns can be expensive, the average newcomer does not have to spend a small fortune to purchase and enjoy a quality Airsoft gun. Before the interested buyer begins to search for his optimal weapon, an understanding of the different types of guns that are available, and how these guns work can be very helpful.

Generally speaking, Airsoft guns fall into three different categories, which are defined by how the guns are designed and operate. The more complicated the inner mechanisms that fire the guns, usually the more expensive they become. The first category we will examine is the Automatic Electric Airsoft Gun or what is commonly referred to as the AEG. These electric guns are arguably the most popular guns among veteran Airsoft players. They have given the sport its greatest appeal and are singularly responsible for its explosive growth around the world. The AEG has an electric motor that is powered by an onboard battery. The motor turns the gears inside the gun, which in turn causes a piston to compress and release. The piston creates a blast of air that propels a 6mm plastic BB through the barrel of the gun. This fully automated system gives these guns the exciting rapid-fire feature that makes them so popular. These guns also tend to be the most expensive of the Airsoft gun family, usually costing around several hundred dollars.

The next group of guns to look at is the Gas Powered Airsoft guns. These guns operate by compressed air that fires the BB. The gas is either stored in an onboard cylinder or a gas filled magazine that connects to the gun. Some of the more popular styles are the gas blowback guns or commonly called the GBBs. The compressed air that fires the BB also returns the firing slide to the fire position at the same time. This return action creates a realistic "recoil" sensation from which the name blowback is derived. Reputed to be great fun to play with, the high-end GBB model guns can also cost around several hundred dollars. The non-blowback gas guns are less costly and start at around 40 dollars.

The last category of guns to look at is the Spring guns, which are also referred to as the "Springers". Commonly tagged the cheap Airsoft gun, these spring guns were the original Airsoft models. In order for the gun to fire, a spring mechanism must be manually cocked back each and every time. Due to their simplistic design, the Springers are the most inexpensive and cost effective Airsoft guns. These guns are recommended as perhaps the best for entry-level players. Most players at some point have owned one of these models, which can be purchased for as little as 20 dollars.

In an effort to find a cheap Airsoft gun the shopper must keep in mind the value for the money. Even though one can purchase a gun for around 20 dollars, this does not mean that the gun is cheap in quality. A well made 20 dollar Springer can be a great value for the money, just as a two hundred dollar AEG can be a great value as well. Usually no matter the price, buying a gun from a well-established Airsoft manufacturer is important and worth the investment.

PJ Ace is a writer and administrator for

FlyntAirsoftPaintball.com, a site that specializes in airsoft and paintball [http://www.flyntairsoftpaintball.com/].

This post was made using the Auto Blogging Software from <a href='http://www.webmagnates.org' title'make money online'>WebMagnates.org This line will not appear when posts are made after activating the software to full version.Mandy Linhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03755809008274032294noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8866885040998167629.post-55524348101303920942012-09-17T00:15:00.000-07:002012-09-17T00:15:00.128-07:00Airsoft Vs Paintball - Which is Better?

There are pros and cons to both airsoft and paintball. I will list them out and let you decide which is better.

Let's start with airsoft:

Pros

Cheaper to play

Cleaner

Less painful

More play options

Cons

Judged on the honesty system

BBs are not all biodegradable

Not as popular

Now the pros and cons of paintball.

Pros

The paint shows were the person was hit

More popular

Many accessories and upgrades available

More realistic

Cons

Expensive

Painful

Messy

Airsoft is generally cheaper to play than paintball because the ammo is much cheaper than paintballs. Quality paintball guns can cost hundreds more than airsoft guns, but they are about the same price for low to mid level guns. There is more safety gear required for paintball.

Paintball is a messy game. Paint ends up everywhere. It should wash out of clothing and wash away when it rains, but depending on the surface it may not wash out. The only mess airsoft makes is the ammo its self. There are biodegradable BBs that will dissolve in about 4 months, but many people choose the less expensive plastic BBs.

Paintball is much more popular than airsoft. There are teams virtually everywhere and many tournaments all over the country. Airsoft has teams and tournaments as well, but it is not as big as paintball. One of the reasons for that is that when you get hit with a paintball, everyone knows because they can see it. When you get hit with an airsoft BB, you are probably the only person that knows because there is no mark. The person firing may not even know with certainty that they hit you. Because of this, there is more cheating involved with airsoft than with paintball.

Both sides have many different scenarios like capture the flag, war reenactments, attacking a village, etc. Those who have played both airsoft and paintball prefer scenario paintball over scenario airsoft because of the proof of hit and many players like the pain from a paintball gun more than airsoft. That sounds masochistic, but it makes the game more life like. If you know it is going to hurt and you will probably have a welt, you will most likely play better and be more careful. With airsoft it can still hurt, but not as bad as a paintball.

As far as which is better, it all depends on what experience you want to have. If you want to keep it clean and not spend a lot of money, then airsoft is better. If you want the play to be more real and you have the money to spend, then paintball might be what you are looking for. Either way, they are both a whole lot of fun and if you have not tried either of them yet I highly recommend you do. The best way to decide which is better is to do them both.

Jordan English is the VP of Marketing for SickSport.com, your source for extreme sports gear. If so you might be trying to decide between a couple of options. You could consider becoming interested in electric airsoft guns, for example, or you could think about an activity like paintball or lasertag that have similar elements. While the choice you make will depend on your overall preference, there are some real advantages to choosing the electric gun option.

Electronic Gun Choices

A big reason why Airsoft is so incredibly popular around the world is the variety of electronic guns you can select for playing. Nearly any type of gun is going to be available, including AK47s and sniper rifles that are some of the best sellers. Most of the guns on the market are replicas of authentic guns from the past or present that adds to the realism of play. With paintball and laser tag, you're not going to see that type of realism. For one, real guns don't shoot paint or lasers. Of course, there are some choices when it comes to paintball guns. However, you won't find any options with laser tag equipment that is usually not purchased but rented from the establishment or included in the fees.

Examining the Airsoft Options

There are some key differences among all three of these options that you need to understand before we look at those advantages. First, if you're going to be playing Airsoft then you'll be using a type of gun that shoots BBs. During the match, you'll be firing at team members based on a pre-defined scenario. This is very similar to paintball with the exception of the ammo. Airsoft ammo does not normally contain paint. Laser tag is actually very different in terms of equipment - gun only shoots lasers - but is quite similar in terms of overall play dynamics.

Electric Airsoft Guns Cost

While price may not be the primary factor in the decision you make, it will probably play an important role. Using an electronic gun is going to be more cost-effective in the long run. Not only do many of the weapons cost less than the paintball varieties but their ammunition is also quite a bit less costly. The cost of about 100 rounds of paintball ammo costs approximately the same as about 1,000 rounds for the average Airsoft gun. With laser tag, you won't buy any equipment normally and you won't need ammo, but you'll have to pay rental costs every time you play and that could add up if you're regulars. The purchase of either an airsoft electric guns or a paintball gun is going to be a smarter investment long run.

Conclusion - Electric AirSoft Guns

Clearly, there are many good reasons to choose an airsoft electric guns over your other options. But when you make that final choice it's going to be based on which of these activities you enjoy the most. Based on what most people who have experienced an Airsoft match have said, that's going to give it a clear advantage over the competition.

Sarah Porter has written several articles about Airsoft Guns for Fun, All About Airsoft Rifle, What is Electric Airsoft Guns, BB Guns for All Ages, How to Enjoy Your Airsoft Electric Guns, Interesting Details Electric Airsoft Guns (AEG), Spring Airsoft Guns for Teens, Gas Airsoft Guns for All Ages, All Your Airsoft Accessories and more for SoftAirPro, CardsShoppe, Express-Invitations and Announcements-Shoppe.

This post was made using the Auto Blogging Software from <a href='http://www.webmagnates.org' title'make money online'>WebMagnates.org This line will not appear when posts are made after activating the software to full version.Mandy Linhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03755809008274032294noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8866885040998167629.post-15285718546747722132012-09-16T10:59:00.000-07:002012-09-16T10:59:00.048-07:00Choosing the Airsoft M4 Rifle As Your First Airsoft Gun

If you are looking at an airsoft M4 (regardless of brand) as your first airsoft gun it comes with no surprise because the M16 and M4 are the standard issued weapon for the U.S. Military and is also in use by 15 other NATO countries. It is also the most mass produced rifle in its caliber, that by itself has to tell you something.

As a beginner, buying your first airsoft gun is probably the most crucial part to getting started into airsoft. An important step to buying your first airsoft m4 airsoft gun is establishing what price range you can afford.

The great part about starting out with an airsoft M4 rifle is that it will give you lots of versatility when it comes to playing your airsoft games. For instance, if everyone was to decide to play a close quarter combat game your airsoft M4 rifle would be able to do just fine, thanks to the collapsible stock and already relatively short rifle, add a red dot scope and you'll probably have one of the best choice weapons for the scenario! If you were to play a game in the forest and decided to play the role of a sniper with your airsoft m4, this could also be done by raising the hop up, using heavier airsoft bbs and using a magnified scope. One could also buy an airsoft M16 as opposed to an M4 airsoft gun if they will be doing more long range shooting, this will give the player a couple additional inches on the barrel for better accuracy .

If the U.S. Military using the M16 and M4 as their standard weapon is not enough reason to sway you to get an airsoft M4 as your first gun, the huge amount of modifications and customization that can be done to these airsoft guns should be the reason. This is one important reason why you still want to go with a good well reviewed airsoft gun even if you cannot afford to buy a $300+ airsoft rifle and have to settle for a mid grade $125+ model. Doing so will give you the ability to upgrade your airsoft M4 rifle in the future, once you have more cash saved up.

The airsoft M4 is a great rifle to get started out with. It is relatively light weight, versatile, and capable of shooting far distances but also makes a great weapon for close quarter games. Obviously this will all depend on which brand & model you end up going with. It is always important to make sure you are buying an electric airsoft gun (a.k.a. airsoft aeg gun ), many beginner's will make the mistake of buying an airsoft m4 or any rifle for that matter powered by spring because of the noticeable price difference, thinking the airsoft gun will be capable of firing semi or fully automatic.

An airsoft M4 as your first airsoft gun is a great choice, choosing the brand and deciding your price range are the next two important steps to buying your first airsoft gun. It was around 1980 when the first one came out. These guns are the newest technology of toy gun replicas. They hit the market big worldwide because people liked how they were exact replicas of the real thing. The reloading process and their weight are like the real gun they are replicating. These guns can propel BBs anywhere from 30-260 meters per second for spring or gas guns.

It can be very difficult picking out the right airsoft gun because there are so many different ones in the market. You must choose a gun that fits your needs, and one that you like. Some things to keep in mind when picking out a toy gun are: capability, cost, FPS, RPM, maintenance, and functionality. You need to decide if you want airsoft sniper rifles, airsoft rifles, airsoft pistols, or shotguns. This will depend on what you want your place to be on the airsoft field.

There are three different types of airsoft guns. The most popular ones are the electric airsoft guns. It is powered by a rechargeable battery. There are many different batteries, and you must make sure you buy the right one that fits your gun. Electric airsoft rifles are the most popular, but they are also very expensive. There is also a gas airsoft gun. The most popular gas airsoft gun are airsoft pistols. These guns have the most power out of the three. The BBs are propelled by the pressurized gas. One disadvantage of these is that every time you need to play airsoft, you also need gas. That requires a trip to the store every time. The last type is an airsoft spring gun. This gun is the least popular out of the three. They are neither automatic or semi-automatic. After every time firing you need to re-cock the gun to shoot again. Having to do this slows down your shooting time significantly. Airsoft sniper rifles are usually spring guns.

If you are still not sure on what kind to get think of what you are going to be using it for. If you want it to have precise accuracy you should think of getting spring airsoft sniper rifles. If you want it to have an airsoft war, with your friends, you should probably think of getting an electric airsoft gun or a gas gun. An spring gun will take you much too time to reload in an airsoft war.

Kathy Seefeldt has enjoyed airsofting for about ten years now. The best thing you can do to have your choice facilitated is to read reviews of different airsoft guns, as those give more in depth information than simple product information. This article is a review of the Special Ops M14, which is a sniper rifle that sports a unique wood finish. It is rare to find good looking airsoft guns that come in a wooden style, but this is one of the few products that fits this description and is also very high quality.

Despite only pricing at one-hundred thirty dollars, this M14 has tons of great features that make it extremely powerful and accurate. One feature that is imperative for a sniper rifle is an adjustable hop-up system, which allows you to further control the direction and accuracy of shots that you fire. Hop-up is featured in nearly all quality airsoft rifles nowadays, but it does not have as much value without other factors backing it up. For example, in the Special Ops M14, there is also a precision barrel which enhances the hop-up, and the use of a full metal, new generation gearbox makes every shot one full of potential.

Being that this is a sniper rifle, there is a mount on top that allows you to install virtually any scope you can think of. If scopes don't suit you, there is always the option to put a red-dot sight on instead, although a scope would probably work better. The package for this airsoft gun does not come with a scope, so you have to purchase it separately.

To prevent the need to constantly reload, the package comes with two high capacity magazines. You probably will only need to use one, as since sniper rifles are not automatic, you do not go through rounds that quickly. This is a good thing for you because it makes you a more efficient player, and you do not need to continuously purchase more pellets because you go through them so fast. As you can see, all of these factors culminate to make a great airsoft gun that is useful in a multitude of airsoft related situations.

The M14 is only one of many premier airsoft guns that the writer talks about on his blog. In addition to products, the author engages all aspects of airsoft in his writings.

This post was made using the Auto Blogging Software from <a href='http://www.webmagnates.org' title'make money online'>WebMagnates.org This line will not appear when posts are made after activating the software to full version.Mandy Linhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03755809008274032294noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8866885040998167629.post-51616627244490994472012-09-15T13:08:00.000-07:002012-09-15T13:08:00.067-07:00The Beginning Days of Airsoft

Remember when you were 12 years old and you got your first airsoft gun? Chances are it was a $7 spring airsoft pistol. But none the less, you were stoked! I would call up my buddies and get a game going on in my backyard or go down to the park and play airsoft in the woods.

There was something not all that fun about those cheap airsoft pistols though. It was the fact that they had no power and they often broke a few weeks after buying them. So what did you do? I went and bought another cheap airsoft spring pistol.

After going through quite a few cheap pistols, I realized I needed some more power and reliability. It just wasn't that much fun when you had to practically be on top of the person you wanted to shoot. My first upgrade was an airsoft shotgun. It had just a little more power, but man was it fun! Cocking the airsoft shotgun using the pump action made me feel like such a warrior.

It wasn't long until everybody was upgrading to airsoft rifles and airsoft shotguns. But what I got after that shotgun would change the way we played airsoft from then on. I got my first AEG airsoft rifle. It was an MP5 that shot around 280 feet per second. Suddenly I was the king of the backyard battlefield.

Before I knew it everybody was buying electric airsoft guns. Then came the co2 pistols. These things really pack a punch. When we all started getting new guns we decided it was time to get to a real airsoft field. This was something that i just fell in love with. The action, the intensity and the realism of airsoft skirmish at a real field against other teams with snipers was absolutely awesome.

I urge everybody that casually plays around with airsoft go to your local paintball/airsoft club or field and get in on a real game. You won't regret it. But make sure you have the right airsoft gun and the right airsoft gear. Airsoft guns can be a personal collection or it can be used for proficient training purposes. Airsoft games seriously vary in style and composition depending on the location, budget and the number of participants. But frequently it depends on the ranges, from short-term skirmishes and organized situations to military simulations and historical reenactments. The combat situation on the battlefield essentially uses common military tactics to accomplish the objectives set in the game. Participants, in general use varying types of airsoft weaponry along with either real or fake military gears or uniforms.

Airsoft guns in general look like real Firearms. The firearms are separated to three groups: the Spring Powered BB guns, the Electric Powered Machine guns and the Gas-powered or the CO2 Airsoft rifles. There is an array of shapes and sizes. There are revolvers, Pistols, Snipers or Rifles which has a selection of changeable trigger, power velocity, shockproof and multiple shot features which is simply irresistible for an avid Airsoft rifle shooter.

An example of a spring powered gun is the AA-957C which uses 6mm ammunition and has semi-automatic action. The corners of the sight are smooth for use in holsters. A WA-A10-CH3181 is an example of a Electric Powered gun. This gun could shoot 300 FPS. And the PA-J05355NS2 is an example of a Gas Powered gun. It is made of metal and ABS plastic giving it a powerful and weighty feel.

In the United Kingdom, Ireland and Italy the energy limit for Airsoft guns is One joule or 100m/s with 0.20g, 6 mm BB. Majority of the Airsoft guns are able to shoot from 50 m/s to 125 m/s. But it is also possible to purchase upgraded internals for some Airsoft guns that could shoot up to 180 m/s.

If you are looking for more information regarding airsoft and airsoft sniper rifles please visit http://sniperairsoft.net/

This post was made using the Auto Blogging Software from <a href='http://www.webmagnates.org' title'make money online'>WebMagnates.org This line will not appear when posts are made after activating the software to full version.Mandy Linhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03755809008274032294noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8866885040998167629.post-77850144058617732202012-09-14T22:51:00.000-07:002012-09-14T22:51:00.173-07:00Close Quarters Combat in Airsoft

CQC is a military tactic that makes use of proximity to defeat the enemy. This article discusses the possible application to airsoft games.

If you've ever played a game of metal gear, you will know what I'm talking about. One man being able to take out an entire army, defeat the main guy and get the girl. (Okay so that sounds just like any other videogame around the world). But what if the game play was presented in such a way that with proper training, you too would be able to accomplish the feat? And it gets even trickier. In the game, you can even accomplish the feat using nothing but a pistol! This game got me thinking. Can you apply this theory to actual airsoft games?

Sure being able to wield out your 8 inch airsoft machine guns would be a cool sight to see. But being able to take your opponent out with a side arm exemplifies true skill. There are many advantages of using the sidearm over Airsoft machine guns. And these advantages can be in their proximity. CQC or close quarters combat is a technique popularized by Russian and Israeli soldiers which is used in the event that your battle will end up in close quarters.

There can be a psychological battle that you can wage with your pistol as compared to the opponents airsoft machine guns. One would be as your distance between you and your opponent decreases, your advantage with a handgun increases. If you are able to isolate the maneuverability of his primary weapon, which are usually the airsoft machine guns, you will be at a better advantage of taking him down with the pistol. Many people in airsoft need to be far away in order for them to be in their comfort zone. Being able to fire airsoft machine guns at close range would be quite difficult for someone who has little to no experience in close quarters combat.

Now I'm not saying that the use of a pistol will outdo airsoft machine guns and airsoft sniper rifles every time. All I'm saying is that it is an option that hasn't been explored that much in the realm of airsoft. Imagine being able to take out a horde of troops holding just your pistol against their airsoft machine guns and airsoft sniper rifles.

Close quarters combat, I believe is a skill that can be developed. And if you do develop it, any person you encounter who doesn't have this skill will probably give in to pressure and choke. Think of the scenario of a bull homing in on you and he's getting real close real fast. Many would usually lose control and get careless. That's the same theory with trying to rush up close to your opponent.

If this skill ever does surface in airsoft games, it would be something new to add in terms of strategy and technique. Not to mention the number of BB pellets you would save.

Airsoft machine guns and airsoft sniper rifles can be purchased through the net at http://www.strikebacknow.com

This post was made using the Auto Blogging Software from <a href='http://www.webmagnates.org' title'make money online'>WebMagnates.org This line will not appear when posts are made after activating the software to full version.Mandy Linhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03755809008274032294noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8866885040998167629.post-18888965102079750522012-09-14T14:52:00.000-07:002012-09-14T14:52:00.027-07:00Reasons You Should Buy Sniper Airsoft

Why don't you buy sniper airsoft? For now I live out my fantasy through paintball as a sniper. I used to love running around, dodging "bullets", diving into ditches and hiding behind trees and other obstacles, but now I love the calm and peacefulness of sitting all by my lonesome where nobody is around and taking out targets one by one.

I have several paintball sniper rifles, some I love more than others. But how do you find one that is right for you? Let's be honest, whether you are buying a sniper rifle or you are purchasing a sniper kit or package to upgrade the gun you already have, you are making no small investment. Paintball is not a cheap sport to begin with, but when you start buying multiple sniper rifles you want to make sure you are getting your money's worth.

If you have one of the more popular Tippmann guns, most of these can be upgraded to a sniper level gun with a simple kit or package. This is what I recommend if you are on a budget. In some cases these can work just as well as your custom built sniper rifle and at a fraction of the cost. One thing to avoid is if you have a stainless steel or otherwise shiny gun, this will not make for a candidate to be a good a paintball sniper rifle upgrade. The whole idea is to be undetectable. If your opponent sees bling bling coming from a reflection your position is compromises and you will be out of the game soon.

The best thing to do when choosing a paintball sniper rifle is to test out multiple models. The best gun for one person may not exactly be the best gun for someone else. I've tried out some of the supposedly "best" rifles on the market and they just didn't feel right to me compared to some others I've tried and tested. Try out multiple guns and scopes to get one that "feels right" to you. This is the most important thing. You have to be totally comfortable with your gun knowing that when you take the shot it will reach the target on the first try. Snipers don't get second chances to hit their mark.

Chris McCann is the founder of http://www.paintballsnipersite.com. These guns are universally fully automatic replicas of real-world weapons, such as the M-16 and the AK-47. The exhilarating lure of these Airsoft guns lies in their wonderfully designed fully automated firing systems. These guns have batteries, motors, and gears that control the firing mechanism. It is this automated system that creates the power needed to support the exciting rapid-fire feature of the AEG.

The automatic electric Airsoft gun system is battery operated. Depending on the model style, this battery is stored in the handgrip or the stock of the rifle. The big, full-stock Airsoft rifles such as the AK-47 use the larger AEG batteries. The smaller AEG sub-machine gun models like the M4 or the collapsible stock Airsoft rifles such as the MP5 PDW use the mini or stick batteries. The on board Ni-Cad battery in both models drives a small but powerful motor that in turn powers the AEG.

This is where the magic begins with these guns! Merely pulling the trigger completes a simple electrical circuit that causes the motor inside the AEG to start spinning. The motor then begins to drive the gears in the mech box. The mech box action in turn causes the piston to compress and release. The motion of the piston creates a blast of air that propels the 6mm plastic bb through the barrel of the gun. It is this fully automated process that gives the AEG its most dynamic and desirable feature: a rate of fire (ROF) ranging between 600-900 rounds-per-minute (RPM).

Like their real life counter-parts, the AEG plastic ammunition BBs are stored in a magazine (a detachable part of the gun that holds the ammunition ready for shooting). There are two types of magazines designed for the AEG Airsoft guns. The first is the low capacity magazine or also known as the (Locap). Usually, every new AEG comes equipped with a Locap Mag. Depending on the model of the gun, the Locap holds roughly 50-70 BBs. The low-end capacity gun models would include the Thompson SMG and the Airsoft Uzi. The second type of magazine is the high capacity mag, also known as the (Hicap). Once again, depending on the gun model, the Hicap mag will hold between 200-600 BBs. A high-end capacity AEG such as the AK-47 can hold a Hicap mag containing an astonishing 600 BBs. Although the new models come standard with the Locap mags, most of the larger AEGs can be upgraded to the higher capacity units. Designed to be completely like the guns they replicate, these Airsoft magazines can be changed out as soon they are emptied just like their real counterparts.

With its realistic look and feel, combined with a spectacular automated firing system, the Airsoft automatic electric gun, AEG, continues to grow in its persona and worldwide appeal. Gun enthusiasts, collectors, and avid Airsoft players can all enjoy owning one of these amazing replica guns.

PJ Ace is a writer and administrator for FlyntAirsoftPaintball.com, a site that specializes in airsoft and paintball [http://www.flyntairsoftpaintball.com/].

This post was made using the Auto Blogging Software from <a href='http://www.webmagnates.org' title'make money online'>WebMagnates.org This line will not appear when posts are made after activating the software to full version.Mandy Linhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03755809008274032294noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8866885040998167629.post-48149862145277045912012-09-13T16:22:00.000-07:002012-09-13T16:22:00.554-07:00How to Choose an Airsoft Rifle

A lot of people ask me for advice on selecting an airsoft rifle. Here's a quick check list for finding the right rifle for your needs:

Spring or electric (AEG)? Electric airsoft rifles are the most popular choice because they shoot at a higher velocity and have longer range. Spring rifles, on the other hand, have slower speeds and thus shorter range, but they are less expensive. Spring airsoft rifles are appropriate for less experienced gunmen and younger players. I generally recommend electric airsoft rifles for experienced airsoft enthusiasts and anyone considering sniping. Look for an electric airsoft rifle with a velocity of at least 285 feet per second (FPS). If you plan to focus on sniping, it's best to look for Bolt Action sniper rifles with 400+ FPS.

Metal or plastic composition? Metal is very durable and has a nice, real-life feel, but it is also heavier and may cause fatigue in long games with a lot of maneuvering. AEGs that feature plastic receivers or bodies are made of a composite polymer-ABS. The plastic has been engineered to have a high stress tolerance, making it resistant to shock or drop. In many cases these arms are just as durable as metal bodies, but a lot lighter. At the end of the day, it comes down to personal preference and which "feel" suits you best.

Gearbox or no gearbox? If the rifle you select has a gearbox, make sure the parts are metal. Other materials can break or warp much more quickly, damage gears, and will ultimately lead to an inoperable weapon.

Scope or no scope? If you want to add optics to your airsoft rifle, you will need a rifle with railed sight mounts. Airsoft sniper rifles, for example, are intended to be highly accurate at long ranges, so a scope is really a must. Some rifles come with these sight mounts already in place; on others you can add them. You'll also want to check how the rifle mounts to bipods and other accessories.

How much ammo can it hold? Ammo capacity varies. Some players prefer a high ammo capacity so that the need to reload is minimized. Others, however, are will to sacrifice ammo capacity for a more compact gun that is easy to maneuver. Choosing an ammo storage size really just depends on how you want to use your gun.

Mike Zhang is the VP of Operations of Airsoft Megastore, a leading online provider of airsoft guns, gear and accessories. Although the sport of Airsoft had its beginnings in the early 1980s, the sports popularity began to take off in the early 90s when the first automatic electric guns (AEG) were developed and produced.

The premier manufacturer of the AEG is a Japanese company known as the "Godfather" of Airsoft called Tokyo Marui. With its primary market obviously in Japan, its high quality products are sold worldwide through a number of third party retailers. TM originally manufactured radio controlled hobby cars, and was a leading player in the model car industry before turning their attention to designing and manufacturing Airsoft guns.

TM is highly regarded as the industry standard in terms of quality and craftsmanship when it comes to the AEG. Their products are recognized for several well-known characteristics. TM AEGs are the high water mark for very realistic replicated looks. If not for their orange tips, these guns would be hard to differentiate from their real life counterparts such as the AK-47, the M-16, and the FAMAS F-1. These AEGs primarily have an ABS plastic body and are especially noted for their high quality construction. Batteries that are rechargeable, and which when drained can easily be replaced by a recharged unit power them. All the TM AEGs are fitted with their patented metal mech-box and known for their great reliability.

One of the most exciting features of the TM AEG is the ability to upgrade these wonderful Airsoft products. Along with Tokyo Marui, there are several other high-end companies producing dozens of different automatic electric Airsoft models with a full line of accessories and upgrades. The AEG is the most customizable of all the Airsoft guns, giving its owners the sense of designing their own unique weapon.

The performance of an AEG is often measured by its accuracy, shot velocity, distance, its operating time, and perhaps most importantly, its rate of fire (ROF). To enhance these elements, there are upgrades available for most of the critical parts of the AEG. This would include several different types of batteries that produce more power and upgrades to the AEGs internal mechanisms such as motors, gearboxes, bushings, and gears. External upgrades include enhancements to the scopes, barrels, stocks, and sights.

Perhaps the only prohibitive characteristic of the AEG is their overall price. Before adding upgrades, the base price of a new AEG is roughly between 200-400 U.S. dollars, depending on the model. Upgrades can be somewhat pricy, possibly costing several hundred dollars as well. Batteries alone can run around 45 to 50 U.S. dollars not including the charger that is needed.

There are several different types of Airsoft guns that are less expensive than the AEG. A low-end spring gun can be purchased for as little as 20 dollars. Although there are less expensive Airsoft guns, interested buyers should keep this perspective in mind: No other product can match the exhilarating excitement and thrill of owning one of these fabulous automatic electric Airsoft guns!

PJ Ace is a writer and administrator for FlyntAirsoftPaintball.com, a site that specializes in airsoft and paintball [http://www.flyntairsoftpaintball.com/].

This post was made using the Auto Blogging Software from <a href='http://www.webmagnates.org' title'make money online'>WebMagnates.org This line will not appear when posts are made after activating the software to full version.Mandy Linhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03755809008274032294noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8866885040998167629.post-78479573511644832572012-09-13T03:18:00.000-07:002012-09-13T03:18:00.146-07:00Airsoft Guns - How to Be a Sniper

I love to play airsoft gun games a lot. There are several occasions when my friends and I would go to different fields just to have a very exciting skirmish and superbly intense battles. Airsoft gun games are indeed very exciting, and more people are joining the excitement each day. When you play airsoft gun games, you can actually assume different roles.

Attackers or strikers usually use submachine airsoft guns or assault rifles and be the front line of the team. There are also support crews, using longer range airsoft guns such as machine guns or rifles to support the attackers. My personal favorite is snipers, using long-ranged sniper rifles with accurate scope, luring from strategic spots in complete stealth. Being a sniper isn't as boring as most people thought, especially when you know how to be a good one. In this article, I'm going to share some tips on how you can be a better sniper.

Before you go into skirmishes, always inspect the field. You can easily walk around the field and find the perfect sniping spots that give you the most competitive advantage. You need to make sure you can get to the spot easily as well as plan possible route to move between spots.

Always travel light; don't carry too much unnecessary gears with you. You need to be able to move in complete stealth, and carrying bulky gears will not get you anywhere at all. Your sniper rifle, a handgun, and some additional gears such as a scope to support you are all you need.

If possible, team up with a spotter. Most real snipers team up with spotters to help them cope with situations when you can't snipe properly. Besides, a clever spotter with reliable scope can help you spot enemies easily.

Don't forget to set your sniper rifle's scope properly and choose the right BB bullets for maximum balance of accuracy and range. Heavier BB bullets can give you the needed extra accuracy, but you will be sacrificing range in most cases. Follow these simple tips and you will be a better sniper in no time. Be sure to practice your sniping skills often to get sharper.

Toykin has huge selection of remote control toys and airsoft guns all priced to sell fast. Japan allowed the ability to own Airsoft guns so the people can have a sense of owning a real gun. This is because the laws in Japan are so strict as far as firearms go, that it is near impossible for anyone there to ever own a real gun (especially a pistol).

To allow the people of Japan a sense of being able to hold a gun that felt real, airsoft guns were created. The airsoft guns were constructed as exact replicas of real guns, and were made as automatic electric airsoft guns, airsoft sniper rifles, and airsoft pistols.

It was perfectly legal to carry one of these airsoft rifles or pistol because they only fired non-lethal BB's. These airsoft gun could not fire any real rounds or even metal BB's, but don't get me wrong even the plastic BBs gives you a good sting.

Briefly after airsoft rifles came about in Japan, the real sport of airsoft began, which promptly became very popular in other countries, such as Europe, Great Britain, and then the United States, among other places.

The sport of Airsoft has become extremely popular with people of all ages, from ex-military to teenagers. There are many diverse types of airsoft games played, such as tactical military scenarios, free for all, group battles, and much more. There are way more games you can play during a Airsoft battle, the sky is the limit!

Besides, airsoft guns, especially the airsoft sniper rifles, are used for real military and police training purposes. Many of the popular airsoft rifles used for these intentions are the airsoft sniper rifles, 9mm airsoft pistol, the airsoft AK47 rifle and even the airsoft M4 rifle.

Diverse tactical gear is common in an Airsoft game. Some of the popular items and add-on used in airsoft are: camo face paint, protective airsoft vests, airsoft face masks, tactical throat mics, and more. The sky is pretty much the limit when it comes to airsoft gear.

In Conclusion, one of the greatest things about airsoft, is that it is such an fun sport to get into. Besides, the cost involved is more often than not much less than similar sports, such as paintball, for example. It's not hard to find a good airsoft sniper rifle for a very cheap price or reasonable price. Ammo and guns for Airsoft is cheaper compared to paintball, this is why I enjoy playing Airsoft more than paintball.

A good airsoft rifle is not hard to find, I just recently wrote a blog post at TopAirsoftSniperRifles.com on how to select a airsoft sniper rifle that is right for you. I've been playing Airsoft for over 3 years now and the one thing that I learn is that your airsoft gun is what completes you in becoming a excellent airsoft player.

This post was made using the Auto Blogging Software from <a href='http://www.webmagnates.org' title'make money online'>WebMagnates.org This line will not appear when posts are made after activating the software to full version.Mandy Linhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03755809008274032294noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8866885040998167629.post-54608267670579120112012-09-12T12:45:00.000-07:002012-09-12T12:45:00.725-07:00The Sport of Airsoft vs. The Sport of Paintball Part II

In the previous article of The Sport of Airsoft vs. The Sport of Paintball, we established one of the major differences between the two sports is the actual guns, and not necessarily the cost. I would now like to turn to the conditions of each sport and what they entail.

I have recently seen more and more professional Paintball games being played and broadcasted on Television. I watch the teams compete and the strategy they import to the playing fields. With no offense towards these Paintball teams, I have to say I don't see much strategy used, especially in "SpeedBall."

It always seems to come down to the same thing and same strategy for every team. Get your sprinters to get in close, making sure the first line is spread out while the back field players shoot as much and as fast as they can. Now, I know that most people think that this is strategy, but in my experience any Joe Blow who can move their index and middle finger fast enough can get into the sport.

When I first started participating in Paintball games I had a rental gun that wasn't so accurate or effective from a long distance. I remember that a guy on the other team had a great gun with a double tap trigger and stood in the very back of the field shooting tons of paint towards our team. I understand that he was using the only strategy that he knew to work, but to me that contradicts the game.

In that specific case there is no sport involved, it has everything to do with equipment. I could only imagine if they had five other people standing back there doing the same thing. How much fun would that be?

So is strategy involved in Airsoft, or a better strategy that involves more than just equipment? I want to make a note that better equipment will definitely optimize your sport experience, but I don't think a sport should solely rely on having the best equipment. It takes the fun out of the game and sooner or later it takes the strategy out as well.

Personally, I would much rather be holding a sniper rifle with a long range scope, backing my team up from an elevated level several hundred feet behind them and making sure that their every move is safe. Or posted on the flank while skirmishing through a thick set of woods holding an M16 fully-automatic machine gun, backed up with a 9milimeeter strapped to my ankle incase I needed it for some close combat.

Gaming can take place in an open field with no barriers or a 100-yard field full of trees, brush, and bushes. This all happens while talking on the radio, knowing every location my team is in. This makes for some extreme planning and strategy, not to mention some extreme fun.

So what sport is emerging and what sport is becoming the 'equipment war' rather than a sport? When it comes to The Sport of Airsoft versus The Sport of Paintball I would have to choose Airsoft, and not just because of the costs or the clean up, but simply because of the realistic features and adventures involved. From the guns to the gaming it makes more sense to have fun in a realistic game of warfare without the death part.

In any case, when it comes to sport, I would have to say crawling on the ground under brush or posting yourself 35 feet in the air decked out in camouflage sniping people from an elevated position is more sport than standing in the back of a field loading and shooting, loading and shooting as fast as you can. In other words I think it is evident which sport is actually emerging and unfortunately which equipment race is on its way out.

PJ Ace is a writer and administrator for FlyntAirsoftPaintball.com, a site that specializes in airsoft and paintball [http://www.flyntairsoftpaintball.com/].

This post was made using the Auto Blogging Software from <a href='http://www.webmagnates.org' title'make money online'>WebMagnates.org This line will not appear when posts are made after activating the software to full version.Mandy Linhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03755809008274032294noreply@blogger.com0
