Airsoft - The Extreme Tactical Sport

The addicting game of Airsoft is by far the most thrilling tactical sport I've had tried. It takes a lot of skill and team work to effectively win a match. There are a bunch of different game play to be played in Airsoft. Each and everyone of these games are fun to play in. Some of the games played on the battle field are Manhunt, Capture The Flag, Last Man Standing, Hostage Rescue and King of The Hill. To get a better understand of each game, I'll break it down for you here.

In the game Manhunt, there is one player who is being hunted and the rest of the players are considered the hunters. The objective of the game is that the player who is being hunted must reach a destination in a certain amount of time and before getting shot by the hunters. The one player that is being hunted is only allowed I airsoft pistol and ammo. Hunters are allowed any Airsoft gun they choose.

Capture the flag is the easiest Airsoft game. Two teams fight to capture each other flags which is located on their base and need to return them to their own base. The team that is the first to capture the other team flags and return to their home base wins. Other rules is that if you are shot with the flag you must drop the flag at your current location and return to your base which is the respawn point. In this game, everyone is allowed to use any airsoft gun available.

Hands down, Last man standing is the best Airsoft game. Basically everyone is against everyone in the game play. The point of this game is to be the last man alive. Set with a certain time limit and boundaries, Last man standing is setup like every other Airsoft game. You are allowed to use any Airsoft gun in this game which makes it a very action pack game.

I would love to go into more details of all the Airsoft games that are played but I'll save that for another time. If you like to learn more about the extreme sport of Airsoft or read up reviews on Airsoft rifles and guns. I also run a popular blog on the sport of Airsoft. Choosing the Right Airsoft Tactical Vest

When looking for airsoft tactical gear, you should always keep three things in mind: design, quality, and value. When selecting the right tactical vest, look for a good fit that allows freedom of movement, convenient storage, and heavy-duty construction. A high value vest will deliver both great design and construction, without stripping your wallet. Below is a quick guide for selecting the perfect tactical vest for your airsoft needs.

Design. The right design should adjust to your frame and allow you to move around easily. It will also be made of rugged yet breathable materials so you won't overheat during intense tactical movement.

Durability. A high-quality vest will withstand long-term aggressive activity and provide a degree of protection when under fire. It shouldn't tear, fray or snag in normal airsoft play conditions. Look for solid construction as well as premium zippers or Velcro. Purchase from a reputable airsoft retailer with a solid return policy. If the vest feels too flimsy for your needs, return it for something more rugged.

Storage. The main purpose of a tactical vest is storage. Make sure the vest accommodates the gear you need to carry, be it rifle and pistol magazines, pistols, field necessities, bb speedloaders, canteen, or other supplies.

Color. Tactical vests come in a variety of camouflage and colors. You can choose tan, woodland, or even a swat team style assault vest. It all depends on the type of airsoft activity you plan on using it for and the type of terrain you want to blend with.

Extras. A sniper shoulder pad and additional utility belts increase your vest's versatility.

Cost. You do not need to over-pay for an ultra-rugged, high-quality vest. While some stores will try to charge you more than $100, you can easily find a high-quality yet cheap airsoft tactical vest for less than $50.
