All About Airsoft Spring Guns

I'm going to guess that your first airsoft gun was probably spring powered. I say this because these guns are usually the cheapest guns. You wouldn't want to go out and spend $200 on an AEG rifle if you didn't even know if you were going to like the sport of airsoft yet. Just because these guns are less expensive than other guns doesn't mean that they are just for novices. They can be very useful for many reasons.

Airsoft spring pistols are usually plastic but some due come in metal versions. These are very useful in close quarters battle (CQB) or any other kind of airsoft battle as a secondary weapon. These pistols must be cocked after every shot by pulling the slide back. Just because they are spring powered does not mean that they are weak or under powered. Some may shoot up to 400 feet per second!

Many airsoft shotguns are spring powered. Shotguns can be very powerful and effective for clearing out a room in CQB. These guns are not as useful for outdoor play as they do not hold accuracy over a long distance very well. This is due to the wide shot pattern they have. They can shoot 3 to 6 bb's in one shot at a rate of speed. These guns also must be cocked for each shot. This seems less inconvenient as cocking a pistol every time because shotguns are pump action. This mimics the real thing.

Nearly all airsoft sniper rifles are spring guns. These guns do not need to be automatic electric due to their use. Most sniper rifles are bolt action. This is a lever that must be pulled up and back to chamber another round. These airsoft guns are rarely cheap plastic models, but more metal, high-end units. Sniper rifles are longer than other spring guns so they have better accuracy. Bi-pods and scopes are commonly used with these.

Everything You Need to Know About Airsoft Guns

Airsoft rifles first originated in Japan. It was around 1980 when the first one came out. These guns are the newest technology of toy gun replicas. They hit the market big worldwide because people liked how they were exact replicas of the real thing. The reloading process and their weight are like the real gun they are replicating. These guns can propel BBs anywhere from 30-260 meters per second for spring or gas guns.

It can be very difficult picking out the right airsoft gun because there are so many different ones in the market. You must choose a gun that fits your needs, and one that you like. Some things to keep in mind when picking out a toy gun are: capability, cost, FPS, RPM, maintenance, and functionality. You need to decide if you want airsoft sniper rifles, airsoft rifles, airsoft pistols, or shotguns. This will depend on what you want your place to be on the airsoft field.

There are three different types of airsoft guns. The most popular ones are the electric airsoft guns. It is powered by a rechargeable battery. There are many different batteries, and you must make sure you buy the right one that fits your gun. Electric airsoft rifles are the most popular, but they are also very expensive. There is also a gas airsoft gun. The most popular gas airsoft gun are airsoft pistols. These guns have the most power out of the three. The BBs are propelled by the pressurized gas. One disadvantage of these is that every time you need to play airsoft, you also need gas. That requires a trip to the store every time. The last type is an airsoft spring gun. This gun is the least popular out of the three. They are neither automatic or semi-automatic. After every time firing you need to re-cock the gun to shoot again. Having to do this slows down your shooting time significantly. Airsoft sniper rifles are usually spring guns.

If you are still not sure on what kind to get think of what you are going to be using it for. If you want it to have precise accuracy you should think of getting spring airsoft sniper rifles. If you want it to have an airsoft war, with your friends, you should probably think of getting an electric airsoft gun or a gas gun. An spring gun will take you much too time to reload in an airsoft war.

General Information About Airsoft

Airsoft is not a recognized sport in the news media sense, more people know about paintball. Well, for one thing, airsoft is a lot cheaper; don't believe it? Go to any store or online site that sells these products and you as a consumer will see the difference. Airsoft is also a lot safer and doesn't cause as much pain like some paintball guns do which ruin the fun of a game. Airsoft is played across the world, especially in Scotland. In Scotland there is a huge outdoor forest with referees and more than plenty of room to hide. Airsoft players from all over go there to play. For example, players from South Africa, Belgium, Canada, Poland and even USA go there so people do know about it from all over the world.

This sport has many unique opportunities as well, in some games vehicles like go karts are used. These vehicles have mounted guns on them and other players can plant airsoft landmine and claymores which will bring me to my next subject. The good thing about airsoft is,if you can think it,it can be used. They have grenade launchers that can be mounted on virtually any gun, other explosives offered are claymores, grenades; flash bang, noisemaker, smoke, or regular frag type.

There are three main types of airsoft guns; spring (aka springers) which are single shot only, gas (aka green gas by airsoft players) which are mainly butane or C02, and finally Electric (aka AEGs, Automatic Electric Guns) that can fire automatic or semiautomatic. As you already know, there are different knds of each gun. It can be broken down to; Springs -pistols, SMG replicas, sniper rifles. Electrics-pistols, mini smgs, electric entry level rifles, electric middle level rifles, electric higher level rifles. Gas/ blowblacks- pistols (nonblowback, blowback), gas rifles, gas sniper rifles.

You should try to learn more about airsoft pistols, which are an important tool in airsoft. There are many airsoft premier guns that fit the category of pistols.

All You May Want to Know About Cheap Airsoft Guns

Despite the Airsoft game having been around for the last few years and it being a very enjoyable pastime activity, some people have never been part of it. This may be attributed to the fact that they assume it is a very expensive game in terms of the cost of the guns and ammunition. Truth be told, the market actually has a good variety of cheap that will suffice for a fantastic session of Airsoft game play. Of course there are other types of which are quite expensive but these are the sort used by the deep enthusiasts of the game and they cater for extended durations of game play.

The variety of the cheap can be categorized based on the means of firing the ammunition and here we have the electric, spring and gas types. The spring-loaded guns need to be cocked every other time you fire ammunition. It is for this reason that they are not very popular as the game normally requires fast recurrent shooting - unless every participant is using the same variety of guns.

The electric type are very popular as you do not need to cock them after every shot you take and more so because they propel the ammunition at the highest speed compared to the other versions. Electric Airsoft guns come with rechargeable batteries. The Airsoft replica of the popular AK47 assault rifle is normally found in this electric form.

The gas is carbon dioxide or green gas propelled. They are also preferred over the spring-loaded types as they have a semi automatic feel. They however require recharging of the gas cartridges after a few minutes of discharging ammunition.

Based on these three categories we can have pistols, shotguns, conventional and sniper rifles, and machine guns.

After choosing their preferred firing means and type/s of gun customers can start prowling the market in search of the cheap that appeal to them. By virtue of shopping online shoppers can now obtain cheap courtesy of the massive discounts that internet stores are popular for. There are that retail for under fifty dollars while the sophisticated ones will go for around five hundred bucks. Despite the wide range in prices the cheaper guns cannot be dismissed as being of poor quality; it is just that they have a simpler firing mechanism or just in the same way that a conventional sniper rifle cannot have the same price tag as a normal day to day pistol. The point however is to always source the cheap from reputable stores so as not to compromise on the quality.

All About Airsoft Gun Accessories - Part 2

If you play a lot of close quarters battle then you might want to consider adding a foregrip to your airsoft rifle. This will allow you to move the gun around easier and keep it more stable in smaller areas. Foregrips can be either collapsible or fixed. I prefer to have a collapsible one for transitioning between outdoor and CQB.

Another way to add stability to your airsoft gun is to add a bi-pod to it. Bi-pods are primarily used on airsoft sniper rifles. Snipers need to be able steady their gun as much as possible as they are shooting at a long distance. Snipers usually are seated or laying down while shooting as to stay low and well hidden from the enemy. Bi-pods can be adjustable in height and position. They can also fold up for transportation.

A tactical strap for you airsoft rifle is important to have if you carry multiple guns and grenades. You don't want to laying down your rifle to use your CO2 pistol do you? You need to be able to switch from the rifle to gun as fast as possible in case your rifle runs out of ammo and there is no time to reload. A sling is also nice for running around and moving a lot. Sling are available in nylon or leather mostly.

In addition to adding scopes, dot sights and lasers to your gun using a rail system, you can also add a grenade launcher. The most common is an M203 grenade launcher. These can mount on many assault rifles such as the M4 or M16. They take a green gas powered grenade that is loaded with 18 to 180 bb's. With just one trigger pull they all fire at once. With all of these airsoft gun accessories available, your sure to find the right gear for you.

AirsoftEverything.com can help you find the airsoft spring gun you are looking for.

Key Facts About BB Guns

Very few of us are aware of the fact that BB guns were introduced in 1900 and are a part of Americana. This is considered to be a dream toy of various girls and boys. In year 1938 Red Ryder BB gun was introduced and it is the most popular gun ever made till now. BB guns are capable of firing a steel pellet and are mostly used for bird hunting and bird shooting purposes. Nowadays, airsoft guns are available and they can fire plastic pellet. The pellets which are used in these are larger than the pellets which are used in BB guns. This is one of the major reasons why Airsoft pellets are safer than BBgun pallets.

Also, it is known that the Airsoft pellets are unable to break the skin of the human beings. For BB pellets, there are mainly three principal methods; Gas pressure, spring power and electricity battery. In electric BB guns which are also called AEG, Automatic electric gun, there are rechargeable batteries. These are capable of producing fully automatic and semi-automatic electric guns.

There are various styles and designs of these guns available in the market. Some of the models include sniper rifles, hand guns and assault weapons. These weapons are available at varying price range and performance capabilities. The ones which are costly can be found in metal and have higher velocity and fire rates while the cheaper ones are made up of plastic and have lesser capability and are considered to be safer for humans.

It has also been brought into notice that various manufacturers also come up with replica of these bbguns to have the same feel and experience.

All About Airsoft Sniper Rifles

Frequently in airsoft war games you will find people use airsoft sniper rifles. They have a much slower rate of fire because they are usually bolt action, spring guns. As long as the person shooting the rifle is accurate then the gun is very beneficial to the game. Having two or more airsoft snipers is a good idea. It is hard to sit for long periods with out moving but a sniper needs to be able to do this.

Most people have an understanding of how a real sniper is used. Usually snipers are just sitting for hours, and waiting for the target to come in to sight. The sniper usually just sits in the hide out, and usually can't wait to pull that trigger.

On an airsoft sniper rifle you will find a fully movable rear sight, and a recoil pad that is rubber for the shoulder. It can be an adrenaline rush to hide behind your gun because it gives you the advantage over your opponent. If you want all the trophies from the war game then the airsoft sniper rifle is the one you want.

You do not have to use gas or batteries with these airsoft sniper rifles. For back up support this airsoft sniper rifle is great, it is even a wonderful addition to your gun collection. Make sure to cock this rifle after every shot because it will most likely be a spring gun. There are bigger and much better airsoft weapons on the battlefield so watch out.

Because no one wants to be the loser, you will be hard pressed to find a powerless gun on the battlefield. Practice is the only way to win these airsoft battles. An airsoft sniper rifle is not as fast as some of the other guns, but if you're a great sniper it will not matter. As long as you are accurate in your shot, you will be victorious.

Learn how your gun works, and fires. Buy a good scope and get some great camouflage. If they do not see you then they can not shot you. If at all possible, put more snipers on your side. The more snipers you have the better chance you have of winning.
